Danielle Bradbery is heading back to school! Starting March 2, the country darling will be headlining the Music in Our Schools national bus tour, spotlighting the importance of keeping music in high schools.

Kicking off National Music in Our Schools Month in March, the tour will focus on the benefits of music to students and school communities. Bradbery will address students at each school and perform songs off her self-titled debut record, including the Top 15 hit 'The Heart of Dixie.'

Bradbery, 17, is the youngest contestant to win NBC's 'The Voice' and knows a thing or two about how important music education and music teachers are for teenagers and communities.

“This is a great way to reach kids my age and show them that the skills they learn in music can help them to be successful in life," says the newcomer. "Through music, I’ve learned the value of persistence and working hard to make my dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that with students and others during the tour."

For the tour, Bradbery has teamed up with Disney Performing Arts and the Give a Note Foundation, part of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), which works to ensure that all children have access to high-quality music education.

“Studying and making music, whether it’s playing an instrument or singing or composing, is one of the most valuable ways kids can spend their time,” says Jane Balek of NAfME and Give a Note Foundation. “Music education reinforces 21st century skills like creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking -- all qualities kids need to be successful in their schoolwork."

Bradbery's week-long tour will hit high schools in Albuquerque, Houston, Oklahoma City, Nashville and Charlotte before ending its run on March 8 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The songstress will give her final performance of the tour at Festival Disney.

Currently, the songstress is wrapping up her run with Brad Paisley's Beat This Winter Tour and will be heading out with Hunter Hayes for the We're Not Invisible Tour starting on March 20. With all this time on the road, hopefully she's not missing too much school herself!
