Darius Rucker gave one of the night's most memorable performances at the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards as he performed a special new tune titled 'Music From the Heart.'

Rucker co-wrote the tune with Chris Young and Brett James, along with numerous young adults with development disabilities, some of which who joined the singer on the MGM Grand stage during Sunday night's performance. They wrote the song at the ACM Lifting Lives music camp last summer in Nashville.

The performance was geared towards benefiting Vanderbilt Kennedy Center to improve the lives of the disabled.
