Darius Rucker Links Up With Uber for Southern Style Tour

Darius Rucker fans looking for the VIP treatment before shows on the star's Southern Style Tour this fall are in luck if they're also fans of the rideshare app Uber.

The singer has announced a partnership which allows users to enter a promo code within the Uber app and receive $20 off their first ride, as well as a free download of Rucker’s album Southern Style, which includes his No. 1 hit “Homegrown Honey."

Rucker is taking it a step further, though, and anyone who puts the promo code into the Uber app is entered to win a VIP package, which includes two tickets to the concert, access to an exclusive acoustic performance from before the big show and a pre-show party in the VIP Party Lounge. The fall leg of the tour will feature David Nail and A Thousand Horses as special guests.

Uber users can enter the promo code SOUTHERNSTYLE to receive the $20 off discount and album and enter the contest. A full list of dates for the fall leg of the Southern Style tour is below.

Rucker’s most recent single, the title track from Southern Style, was released in May and is a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot Country and Country Airplay charts.
