Singer Daryle Singletary has died. The '90s country hitmaker was known for songs like "I Let Her Lie" and "Too Much Fun." Singletary, a Georgia native, was just 46 at the time of his death.

News of Singletary's death started to spread on social media Monday morning (Feb. 12), and confirmation came quickly via SiriusXM's the Highway. His publicist would later confirm that Singletary died on Monday morning (Feb. 12) at his home in Lebanon, Tenn. An additional source tells the Boot that Singletary had a blood clot and died at his home.

Singletary played concerts as recently as the weekend in Dadeville, Ala., and at Cowboy's Night Club in Lafayette, La. He also appeared at singer Mel Tillis' public memorial on Jan. 31. No news of Singletary's death has come on his official social media pages, and his website appears to be down.

The "Amen Kind of Love" singer started his career as a southern gospel singer, often traveling with his parents growing up. Artists like George Jones, Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent, Randy Travis and Keith Whitley were big influences. A demo he cut for Travis eventually led to his commercial success.

This story will be updated as more news about Singletary's death becomes available. The singer leaves behind a wife and four children. The fourth was Charlotte Rose, born to the singer and wife Holly in September 2014.
