Day 3 of Country Jam was a memorable one, beyond the fact that genre-defining acts like Billy Currington, Kacey Musgraves and Tim McGraw played. Missed it? Don't worry. Taste of Country has rounded up 5 highlights from Saturday (June 20), including a romantic moment, a cute kid and some unexpected covers.

5. Billy Currington Has "Friends in Low Places"

Billy Currington hit up Country Jam with a fiery set of his own hits and a few covers, as well. While one of the most popular covers at Colorado's festival has been "Uptown Funk" (it's been performed a handful of times already) — and Currington certainly knows how to get his funk on — his rendition of Garth Brooks' classic was on point.

4. Kacey Musgraves Previews New Material From Pageant Material

Kacey Musgraves' new record Pageant Material drops Tuesday (June 23),  and fans are on the lookout for an early taste. Luckily, the songstress previewed new material from the record at Country Jam, including "This Town." Of course, she also gave the audience a little taste of the south with the radio single "Biscuits" — is there anything tastier than biscuits, gravy and a side of the always-effervescent Musgraves?

3. Colt Ford Brings Little Boy Up to Sing "Dirt Road Anthem"

We're pretty sure there's nothing cuter than the burly, scruffy Colt Ford with a little kid. During his set, the singer explained that he met the boy during the meet and greet and wanted the little guy to come onstage with him. Ford brought him up during "Dirt Road Anthem," and after having him sing a bit of the song, they both jumped up and down together. Cute kids and gentle country stars are always a hit.

2. Jackson Michelson Delivers Medley of Covers

Fans love cover songs, especially if they aren't quite as familiar with the artists songs, and newcomer Jackson Michelson definitely delivered. During his set, he played a medley of covers, and it kept getting better and better. His mashup included Dr. Dre's "No Diggity," Destiny Child's "Say My Name," TLC's "No Scrubs" and the Beatles' "Come Together." Michelson proved himself as a cover king during Country Jam, and we aren't mad about it at all. As for his original material? Tops. Check him out here.

1. Tim McGraw Gives a Shoutout to Faith Hill in Place He Proposed

Country Jam holds a lot of memories for Tim McGraw, but the most special is one that isn't necessarily about his successful music career — it's about his wife, Faith Hill. The singer told the audience about how he proposed at the festival many years ago, and he wanted to let Hill know he was thinking of her. McGraw taped the crowd yelling "We love you Faith!" and simultaneously, every fan fell a little more in love with the "Shotgun Rider" singer.
