Diamond Rio became the first country group to have their debut single reach No. 1 when the peppy 'Meet in the Middle' topped the charts in the early summer of 1991. The cute story begins with two young lovers meeting at a fence between their houses, before they get married and decide to meet in the middle on disagreements.

"We'd gain a lot of ground / Cause we'd both give a little / Ain't no road too long / When we meet in the middle," this talented group of harmonizers sing. Like so many songs on the Top 100 Country Love Songs list, 'Meet in the Middle' is still alive on country radio today.
