Dierks Bentley Announces 2016 Somewhere on a Beach Tour

It’s already shaping up to be a busy 2016 for Dierks Bentley. In addition to a new album and single, the country star has announced the cities for his upcoming Somewhere on a Beach Tour.

Bentley will release his eighth studio album, Black, later this year. He has just released the album’s lead single, “Somewhere on a Beach,” and now he’s revealed that he will kick off the U.S dates of the tour in support of the album on May 12 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J., after returning from four European dates. Randy Houser and Cam will serve as Bentley’s support acts for the tour.

“This album is about all phases of a relationship, including the breakups,” Bentley says in a press release. ”’Beach’ is a pretty blunt take on that wild rebound we’ve all had or maybe imagined having. The carefree attitude is exactly the spirit we wanted to bring out on the road this year.”

“I’ve toured with Randy before, and he’s just a great dude — on stage and backstage,” he adds. “And I’ve gotten to know Cam a little over the last year, and she’s fun as hell too and so talented. It’s going to be a big summer for sure.”

Bentley has not yet set a firm release date for Black, but the album is currently available for pre-order via his official website. Fans who pre-order the project will receive bonus tracks and videos, as well as special merchandise and “Black Card” member experiences on Bentley’s 2016 tour.

Select shows on the 2016 Somewhere on a Beach Tour shows go on sale beginning on Jan. 29 as part of Live Nation’s Country Megaticket. More information is available at and
