Dierks Bentley decided it wasn't enough just to sing for thousands of Las Vegas fans and millions watching the ACM Awards on television. He needed to ask for some help. Dressed head to toe in denim, Bentley began his new single 'Am I the Only One' in the tunnel of the Mandalay Bay Casino before working his way on stage.

He didn't miss a beat as he strapped on his acoustic guitar and lead his band through the rocking bar burner. It was if he was singing from the stage at one of Nashville's more popular watering holes. The 2004 ACM Top New Artist was backed by pool tables, electric beer signs and bar stools.

Halfway through the song, Bentley left the stage and sprinted up the arena stairs to find a few fans in the nosebleed section to sing with. The well-dressed crowd looked legitimately shocked to be standing next to the 'What Was I Thinking' singer, and since it was a new song not many knew the words when he stuck the microphone in front of them. As the song wrapped up, Bentley flashed a satisfied smile suggesting that he may have pulled off something he shouldn't have.
