Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row to Open in Nashville
Dierks Bentley is bringing his Whiskey Row bar, restaurant and concert venue to Nashville. Scheduled to open in early 2017 on Lower Broadway, Tennessee will be the second state to house Bentley’s establishment, following the original in the country star’s home state of Arizona which includes three locations in Gilbert, Scottsdale and Tempe.
According to The Tennessean, Whiskey Row will be located on the northwest corner of Fourth and Broadway, just steps from the Ryman Auditorium. The four-story building will include three stages for live music, and the food on the menu will be made from scratch in-house. The bar is expected to offer more than 50 types of beer and craft cocktails.
“Lower Broadway’s honky-tonks are the stomping grounds of countless artists past to present chasing this crazy dream of playing music,” Bentley explains. “It’s home of the bars where I cut my teeth night after night, usually running up a beer tab bigger than the tips I made covered. It’s pretty full-circle to think that we’re getting the chance to open one of my bars, backing right up to the Ryman Auditorium, where other artists will look back on as the place they got their start, too.”
Bentley is known for making surprise appearances at the honky-tonks on Broadway, sometimes even playing in his country cover band, Hot Country Knights. One can only wonder who might show up at his new Whiskey Row location!
