This Friday, Dolly Parton will return to theaters with her latest flick 'Joyful Noise' -- her first big screen appearance in many years. On Monday, the 'Jolene' legend stepped onto the red carpet in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre for the big debut of the Warner Bros. motion picture alongside co-star Queen Latifah.

Per usual, Parton dazzled the cameramen and onlookers with her gaudy fashion and big hair. She sported a sparkly beaded suit-like dress, which showed just enough skin, and accentuated her look with big rings, red nails and pearl-dotted gloves. Parton seemed to be in as good of a mood as ever, playfully modeling for the flashing cameras and rubbing elbows with fellow stars.

In the silver screen production, the country music icon portrays the widow of a choir director who, with help from Latifah's character, attempts to save the gospel group. 'Joyful Noise' opens everywhere on Jan. 13.
