No. 7: Don Williams, ‘I Believe in You’ – Top 100 Country Love Songs

This No. 1 hit for the Gentle Giant of country music also made the list of the Top 100 Country Songs of all time. Don Williams' velvet voice and innocent lyrics make this a song to stop and think on. 

"I believe in love / I believe in old folks / I believe in children / I believe in you," Williams sings on 'I Beliee in You' from 1980. He had No. 1 country hits before this one, but the No. 7 song on the Top 100 Country Love Songs list also became an international hit while crossing over to find pop success that year. After a brief retirement in 2006, Williams came back to record 'And So It Goes' in 2012.
