Doug Dillard's resume includes an impressive list of superstar names. The banjo player worked with Linda Ronstadt, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, the Byrds and his brother as one-half of the famed Dillards. As part of that bluegrass duo, he earned fame through reoccurring appearances on 'The Andy Griffith Show.' The Grammy Award-winning picker also worked with the Beach Boys and the Monkees. Comedian and accomplished banjo player Steve Martin called Dillard a major influence. He died in Nashville in May 2012 at the age of 75.
