Dustin Lynch’s ‘Hell of a Night’ steers straight down country Main St. The uptempo love song from the ‘Where It’s At’ album speaks of a white-hot lusting for the hottie in the passenger’s seat. It's the singer's hottest moment yet.

Lynch’s country rocker is sonically edgier than ‘Where It’s At,’ but lyrically familiar to any fan of country radio. “So give me that aw yeah, take me there look / I'm a sucker for your kiss, wanna steal 'em from your lips baby, like a truck / Foot heavy on the floorboard, everywhere we go / I'm talking once in a lifetime, blowing your mind / Burning down these back roads,” Lynch sings during the second chorus.

While he has released a number of love songs as singles, Lynch had yet to attempt to pack this much raw desire into a song. “So give me that aw yeah, and I'll give you that all night / Girl, give me that let's go, and I'll give you that good good time,” he adds during a line that requires no interpretation.

Show you a side of these two lanes you've never seen / Heating it up behind a high beam / Ooh, baby you and me, just a-running down crazy / Flying high, living careless, on the edge of wild and reckless / Hold on tight, I'm 'bout to show you one hell of a night.”

Much of the ‘Where It’s At’ album leans into Lynch’s R&B influences, but ‘Hell of a Night’ plays it straight. It’s a return to what’s working for the Tennessee native.

Why Fans Will Love It: 'Hell of a Night' is a straight-forward country love song. The cab of the truck is the setting for this speaker-heater.

Key Lyrics: "Flying high, living careless, on the edge of wild and reckless / Hold on tight, I'm 'bout to show you one hell of a night."

Did You Know?: Adam Sanders co-wrote 'Hell of a Night.' He's next in line from the Luke Bryan-trained group of country stars. Look out for him in 2015.
