Easton Corbin is doing his part to help America's farmers.

Corbin and Ram Trucks President and CEO Reid Bigland were on hand for the first session of the 86th National Future Farmers of America Convention and Expo in Louisville, Ky. to present a check for $1 million.

A former FFA member himself, Corbin has worked closely over the last year with the National FFA Organization, Ram Trucks and their Next Crop Project’s the Year of the Farmer celebration. The 'All Over the Road' singer has traveled to the rural parts of America, meeting with members and helping to raise money for local FFA chapters nationwide.

“I remember when I was in sixth grade and [my grandfather] asked me if I wanted to show a cow and I was like, ‘Well yeah!’” Corbin says (quote via GAC). “So, my grandpa was a big influence on me. He’s always been such a hardworking guy. I’ve always looked up to him.”

Ram Trucks kicked off the Year of the Farmer with the debut of their Super Bowl commercial, 'Farmer,' in February. The company pledged to donate $100,000 for every one million views the clip received, up to a maximum of a million dollars. The commercial went viral on YouTube, reaching 10 million views within days and raising the million dollars that Corbin helped present.

The singer recently released a new single, 'Baby Be My Love Song.'
