Comedian, actor and banjo player Ed Helms is making a special appearance again at Bonnaroo Music Festival in 2017 to host the Bluegrass SuperJam, and he's added one of the biggest names in country music to his lineup.

Martina McBride is scheduled to take part in the June 11 event. Other acts who will appear as part of the bluegrass jam include Greensky Bluegrass, Mandolin Orange and Aaron Lee Tasjan, but surprise guests are bound to appear.

McBride is not the only country star set to perform at the festival in Manchester, Tenn. — Cam, Margo Price and newcomer Luke Combs will all take the stage during the course of the four-day excursion, which takes place June 8-11, turning a 700-acre farm 60 miles outside of Nashville into a full-fledged music festival. Legendary rock band U2 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline the event, along with one of the hip-hop scene's hottest acts, the Weeknd. Some of contemporary music's biggest names will also perform including Chance the Rapper, Lorde, Cage the Elephant and many more.

The "Independence Day" singer wrapped up her Love Unleashed Tour in early 2017 in partnership with CMT’s Next Women of Country. Lauren Alaina served as the opening act, and she's been an outspoken fan of the legendary country singer.

“I have always been such a fan of Martina. She has had such an empowering career for all women aspiring to be entertainers. I have had the honor to meet her and she is so humble, kind and encouraging," the "Road Less Traveled" singer raves of McBride. "I am so impressed by her."
