Eli Young Band's tour bus caught fire on Wednesday morning. The band shared the news on social media, saying, "We've lost more than a bus here."

The fire on the Eli Young Band's band bus started in the back, near the engine. The group's driver shared a video which was posted to the group's Facebook and Twitter accounts. He appears to be sharing the news with others. "(It's) Gonna burn to the ground," he says between breaths. A photo on the group's Instagram account shows that flames spread across the bus. The vehicle was just outside Topeka, Kan., when the fire started. The driver, Randy Moore, had stopped to sleep for the night when he heard the alarm.

While Moore was able to grab one guitar before backing away, everything else was a total loss. "There are memories and possessions that we can't replace," the group writes. "It's really sad to see her go. We're just happy that our driver, Randy, is safe!"

The Topeka Capitol Journal reports it happened on I-70, 10 miles east of Topeka, Kan., at about 12:45AM on Wednesday morning and no injuries were reported.

"We spent six great years living and traveling in our bus," bassist Jon Jones says in a press release. "It was gone in a matter of minutes. Thank goodness that everyone is safe. ... This is a sad moment. So many great memories and things collected over the years that can't be replaced but we know how much worse it could have been.”

According to their official website, the EYB's next show is scheduled for Friday night in Mahnomen, Minn., with another the next day in New Town, N.D.

Musically the Eli Young Band are working on a new album. Last summer they released "Salt Water Gospel" to country radio, and it would later peak just outside the Top 40.
