Eli Young Band’s ‘Crazy Girl’ EP Debuts at No. 1 on iTunes Country Albums Chart

The Eli Young Band are back at No. 1 on the iTunes country chart this week. On Wednesday, only eight hours after its initial release, the band's 'Crazy Girl' EP claimed the No. 1 slot on the iTunes Country Albums chart. This new victory marks the second climb to the top of an iTunes chart in just two months for the band.

In its first week available for digital download, their current single, 'Crazy Girl,' made its debut at No. 1 on the iTunes Country Singles chart with over 450,000 downloads. Since the song’s release online, it has sold over 200,000 downloads in two months, averaging 25,000 each week.

"We’re fortunate that we have fans that are hungry for new music from the band," say bass player Jon Jones.

"We are so very lucky to have such loyal fans that love the song as much as we do," adds lead singer, Mike Eli.

'Crazy Girl' breaks into the Top 30 this week on Billboard's country singles chart, making it their fastest rising single to date. The music video for 'Crazy Girl' has also had its share of success in recent weeks, as it debuted at No. 1 on CMT after being viewed over one million times between YouTube and CMT.com.
