Eli Young Band to Release New Album on August 16

The Eli Young Band are gearing up to release their latest collection of songs, 'Life at Best,' later this summer. The new music is the follow-up release to their critically acclaimed 2008 album, 'Jet Black and Jealous,' which featured the Top 40 hit singles 'Always the Love Songs,' 'When It Rains' and 'Radio Waves.' The band's current single, 'Crazy Girl,' is the first release from the forthcoming album, which will hit stores on August 16.

"'Life at Best' was a long time in the making," says Eli Young Band's bassist Jon Jones, according to CMT. "We're lucky to have loyal fans that are hungry for new music. We're glad we're finally able to put the new music out for an established fan base."

'Crazy Girl' was penned by hit songwriter Liz Rose and Lee Brice. The tune has become the Eli Young Band's fastest rising single to date. This week, the tune inches closer to breaking into Billboard's Top 20 country singles.
