Real Names: Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones, Chris Thompson

To this day, the Texas four-piece still get asked, "Which one of you is Eli Young?" There is no one by that name in the band. Instead, they combined the last name of singer Mike Eli with the last name of guitarist James Young. It's a query that promises to haunt the Eli Young Band until the end of their career as a country group.
