Sir Elton John will make an appearance on an episode of this season's television drama, Nashville.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, John will play himself on the May 18 episode. He will perform alongside Sam Palladio, who plays Gunnar Scott, on the season's second-to-last episode.

Nashville's Season 4 will boast several music stars, including previously announced appearances by Kelsea Ballerini, Thomas Rhett and Kesha. Each artist will also play themselves in separate episodes this season. Nashville, which is filmed in Music City, has featured several country stars in the past, including Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, Florida Georgia Line, Vince Gill and Sara Evans, among others.

It was announced last month that Nashville will take the show on the road this spring. The concert tour across the U.S. will feature cast members Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack and Charles Esten performing original music, as well as songs from the series. Will Chase, Jonathan Jackson and Aubrey Peeples join the tour in select cities.

The Nashville in Concert Tour will also make its first international run in the United Kingdom, with Bowen, Carmack, Esten and Sam Palladio performing.

“It is truly extraordinary how demand has grown over these past three years,” says Opry Entertainment President Steve Buchanan in a press release. “We have added several new major markets this year so that we can reach as many of our dedicated Nashville fans as possible all across America. Audiences have been consistently blown away by the performing and songwriting talent of our cast.”

Nashville airs Wednesdays at 10PM ET on ABC.
