It turns out that music isn't Eric Church's only talent. The gifted singer-songwriter will introduce a home furniture collection line later this year.

The singer is in the planning and development stages for his own furniture line, which will be released in a licensing deal with North Carolina-based furniture company Pulaski Furniture. The collection will be called 'Highway to Home.'

Although Church made a name for himself as a country star, he has an entrepreneurial spirit, as well. Church graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in marketing, so he's well-equipped to navigate a successful brand, and the star's father, Ken, is a longtime executive in the furniture business.

"Highway to Home is a natural extension of my family heritage," Church posted on Facebook. "My dad was in the industry. My first job was in a furniture plant, so yes, it is in my blood. Staying connected with my roots has always been important to me ... my history and connection runs deep in this business."

Church's forthcoming line will offer several different styles, from cottage to Southern to contemporary designs and rustic, Western-inspired looks. The "Raise 'Em Up" singer plans to donate a portion of the profits from his line to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

In addition to planning his furniture line, Church is staying busy with a variety of concert dates and public appearances. Plus, he and wife Katherine welcomed son Hawk earlier this year.
