Eric Church Sets the Mood With ‘Like a Wrecking Ball’ at 2015 CMT Music Awards

In perhaps the sexiest performance of the night, Eric Church brought his bluesy guitar skills and trademark air of mystery behind his aviator sunglasses to the 2015 CMT Music Awards stage, performing his seductive ballad "Like a Wrecking Ball."

The artist, who co-wrote the song, utilized a stripped-down set, giving it just the right mood to match the lyrics, which would make any woman weak in the knees. Church delivered the song with passion, showing off his softer side as well as his ability to infuse some soul into a tune with a six-string.

Church was nominated for Male Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards for his hit "Talladega," which reached No. 1 on the country airplay charts and No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Country chart. Unfortunately, he lost the buckle to Jason Aldean.
