Does the video tease Eric Church released to his fan club have anything to do with reports that he's planning to debut new music at the 2013 CMA Awards? For almost a year, the 'Springsteen' singer has been giving fans subtle updates on the progress of his new album, and now it seems possible a full revealing is just days away.

In May, Church began telling fans to follow the beard. Essentially, when he trims it, you know he's found the songs he needs for his fourth studio album. He appeared at the ACM Awards in April as hairy as he's ever been after turning up on a red carpet clean-shaven just four months earlier.

At Lollapalooza in August, the singer told Taste of Country he was halfway finished with the album and would be working with producer Jay Joyce once again. Tuesday (Oct. 15) Church released the mysterious video above to the Church Choir. A promise is made for Oct. 22, the day artists typically release new albums and singles to iTunes.

Taste of Country begged asked Church's representatives for more information, but (almost) everyone is keeping tight-lipped. News came on Tuesday that a song called 'The Outsiders' is scheduled to be released to radio on Oct. 28. It's safe to say the song in question could be a single -- perhaps the single Church is rumored to be performing on Nov. 6.

Broadway, a morning show deejay at Country 92.5 in Hartford, Conn., posted to Twitter with absolutely certainty that the singer would premiere a brand new song at the CMAs. Church's representatives didn't confirm or deny the report.

The 2013 CMA Awards air on Nov. 6 at 8PM ET on ABC.

Update: Church's label, EMI Nashville, has confirmed that a song called 'The Outsiders' will be released to radio on Oct. 22. Taste of Country will have more information on the track as soon as it's available. In the meantime, join Church's fanclub here.
