Eric Church may not be going on a cross-country tour this summer, but that doesn't mean you won't be able to see his live show. The superstar will be playing at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado this August.

Church is always going the extra mile to make his shows special, whether it be his one-night-only set lists, unique arrangements or stripped solo shows. Now he's taking it one step further by playing two nights in a row by himself at the spectacular, naturally formed outdoor venue.

Without a scheduled tour for this summer, these shows are one of a few chances to catch him live this year, and without a band, it will be a special experience. The show will feature just Church and his guitar playing the music that earned him the nomination for ACM Entertainer of the Year. Last February, Church played a solo set — albeit not a planned one — in Salt Lake City after his entire band and crew came down with a stomach flu.

The Red Rocks concerts are set for August 9 and 10. Fan club members will be eligible to buy their pre-sale tickets on March 4, with the rest of the tickets going on sale March 11 at AXS.com.

Church will also headline 2016 WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minn., which takes place Aug. 4-6.

Next month, Church will appear at the 2016 ACM Awards to hopefully collect some of the six awards he's nominated for, including Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. He recently released “Record Year,” the second single from the surprise album, Mr. Misunderstood, which was released as a surprise drop this past November.
