There is a new Showdown champion! After almost record voting yesterday and last night on Taste of Country Nights radio, Eric Church's new single 'Creepin'' kinged Tim McGraw's 'Truck Yeah' by an almost two-to-one margin. The fourth single from Church's 'Chief' album seems poised to be another big song for the North Carolina-born country star. It could even become his third straight No. 1 hit.

Today, Church's competition will be country legends the Mavericks, who are making a strong comeback with their new song 'Born to Be Blue.' The group sounds refreshed after a few years apart, and the new single fuses their classic sound with today's modern style. It's as easy of a song to sing along with as you'll find on country radio today. Instantly, the track stands alone as an original.

Listen to clips of both Church's and the Mavericks' songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour online, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. Hear the full versions of the songs tonight after 10PM on Taste of Country Nights, and vote again by calling (888) 678-9995. You can listen to the show online through any of the 33 radio stations that carry it. Voting will end tonight at 10:40PM CT.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour. If a song wins five days in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
