Four time People's Choice Award winner Faith Hill has planned yet another step in her "comeback." The singer is one of the first major performers to be confirmed for the Jan. 11 broadcast of the 2012 People's Choice Awards. That's more than enough reason to tune in, isn't it?

The show will air live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles at 9PM ET on CBS. With Hill's new album, which will feature her brand-new single, 'Come Home,' due in stores in 2012, it's a smart move for her to appear on a popular and heavily viewed show such as the People's Choice Awards.

"We are so lucky to have Faith Hill on board to perform at the People’s Choice Awards," PCA Executive Producer Mark Burnett said in a press release announcing Hill's participation in the event. "Her experience, mainstream appeal and status as one of the top female performers of our time make her the perfect addition to our telecast. I am proud to make this major announcement, the first of many to come for the 2012 show."

Country music will be well-represented at the 2012 People's Choice Awards, courtesy of Hill and whomever else is added to the lineup from the genre.
