Hard to believe though it may be, country queen Faith Hill has hit a milestone — her 50th birthday. And her family and friends didn’t let it go by quietly.

The singer was on tour with her husband, Tim McGraw, Sept. 21 as part of their Soul2Soul tour in Witchita, Kan., but McGraw still made the day special for his leading lady. First, the family and tour crew sang her "Happy Birthday" backstage, but McGraw had also managed to get the venue decorated with childhood photos of Hill, inside and out. As Hill’s video on Instagram shows, the massive group — including her daughter, Audrey — sang with gusto, and Hill covered her mouth in disbelief (and maybe a hint of embarrassment) as they displayed their love for her.

Of course, the fans at the venue joined in an even bigger rendition of “Happy Birthday” during the show as balloons fell from the rafters, and some of them even put together an adorable birthday book for her.

McGraw also posted an adorable note for his wife on Instagram, immediately as the clock turned over to Sept. 21.

“Happy birthday to the most beautiful girl in the world,” he wrote. “You are the most remarkable person that has ever been in my life.... Our daughters could not have a better role model I am truly in love with you more everyday Can't wait to see what ‘the rest of our life’ has in store for us.”

Hill wasn’t at all bothered about hitting the big 5-0 (not that she should’ve been — have you seen her?). In fact, she told an audience at a recent show just how good she feels about it.

“I’m going to stand here and say this right now, I’m happy to be 50,” she said. “You put a 25-year-old girl up here next to me and I tell ya what, I’ll give her a run for her money.”

The couple has been on their Soul2Soul Tour together, which runs through October, and they’re also slated to release an album together soon. Their most recent single “Speak to a Girl” appears on the project, but no information about its release is available yet.
