Fans who tuned in to watch Tim McGraw's emotional tribute to Glen Campbell during the 2015 Academy Awards were likely sidetracked by the star's wife, Faith Hill.

Before entering the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the event on Sunday night (Feb. 22), the superstar couple stopped to chat on the red carpet ... and Hill absolutely stunned, stealing the looks and camera angles away from her husband, who also came polished.

An 'old pro' when it comes to performing at the Oscars — having performed her song "There You'll Be" from the Pearl Harbor soundtrack when it was nominated in the early '00s — Hill had a little bit of advice for her husband, who is singing at the event for the first time.

"Take a few very deep breaths before going out," she told him, adding for the viewers at home, "He's ready, he’s prepared … We all love Glen so much."

McGraw, of course, was asked by Campbell's family to sing "I'm Not Gonna Miss You," his Academy Award-nominated final song. The performance is expected to be a highlight of the evening — albeit an emotional one, as the legend is losing a battle with Alzheimer's.

"I’m a huge fan of Glen Campbell’s, I think the legacy he’s left across the musical landscape is just incredible. He has transcended all genres," McGraw says. "To be able to do something like this is just incredible. It’s going to be emotional for sure. The song is very special. I’m honored to be able to be here to do that."

"I'm Not Gonna Miss You" is nominated for Best Original Song at the 87th annual Academy Awards.
