Florida Georgia Line Are Interested in Doing Some Acting, Too
The acting bug seems to have bitten Florida Georgia Line after the release of their mini-movie-style music video for "May We All." The duo caught up with Taste of Country Nights while in New York City recently and they mentioned that they've always wanted to act.
FGL got to flex their acting muscles in their new music video, and they had an experienced country musician/actor by their side. When they learned Tim McGraw would join them for the intense "May We All" music video, they knew they had to bring their A game to the shoot.
“We did a couple takes on every scene to make sure we had the right angles and everything. We knew Tim was going to be there with us so we came prepared. Practiced, got ready," FGL's Brian Kelley shares. "We made sure we were going to be comfortable presenting those lines. It was a great experience for us."
"Acting is something we’ve wanted to get into, obviously doing this song with Tim and his acting. We had to get him in there and take advantage of the situation. Give all of our fans something different and fresh. Who doesn’t love a good dirt track? A little racing, a little fighting."
Now that BK and Tyler Hubbard have a little acting experience under their belts, we wouldn't be surprised to see them go for the big screen in the future. As for this video, they are very pleased with how it turned out — and so are their wives!
“They both came the first day and kind of got a sneak peak at how it was unfolding," Tyler Hubbard dishes. "They were definitely as impressed when the video came back as BK and I were. It was sort of an emotional first watch for everybody. It was kinda fun. As my mom says, ‘I guess that’s good acting.’ She was emotional, as well.”
