Florida Georgia Line aren't strangers to No. 1 hits — in fact, the pair recently scored another chart-topper with their single "Anything Goes." Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard stopped by the ToC Nights studio and described to us the feeling you get when a song reaches the top of the charts.

“You know what, No. 1s are so hard to get. They really, really are. I’d say we’re just we’re really thankful for them, deep down it motivates us and makes us really, really thankful," Kelley explains.

When some artists get No. 1 hits, they may become a little less inclined to work as hard while relishing in that glory, but not FGL. Creating successful songs makes BK and T Hubb work that much harder so they can hopefully do it again.

"There were a lot of years where we didn’t have No. 1s and we didn’t have anything going on, so we just turn it back to thankfulness and turn it back into work," Kelley adds, "Try to write some more, try to write some of the best songs we can and keep doing what we’re doing, man. We love what we do. We’re very thankful to be touring and writing songs. It’s a dream come true.”

Unlike some other artists, the duo doesn't have a No. 1 ritual or celebration for every time they hit the top of the charts. They don't follow in the footsteps of Brett Eldredge and swim with sharks to celebrate.

However, Eldredge has influenced the duo in other ways. The singer's song "Drunk on Your Love" was an influence on Hubbard's marriage! When the FGL singer tied the knot, he included Eldredge's song in the wedding video, because they'd admired it for awhile.

“We asked him if we could put it in our wedding video and then we released our wedding video and everyone heard the song and liked it," Hubbard explains. "And yeah, one thing kind of led to the next. Now it’s on his album and it could be a single, who knows? I think it’s a great song.”

Florida Georgia Line will perform during the 2015 CMA Awards on Nov. 4.
