It's only fitting that Florida Georgia Line would close out the performances at the 2013 CMT Music Awards with a high-energy rendition of 'Cruise.' After winning two awards for the summer anthem, it was the perfect way to end the night.

Since Nelly had been spotted next to FGL's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard all night, it was only a matter of time before the rapper -- who is featured on a 'Cruise' remix -- stepped out to surprise viewers and audience members.

Luckily, he didn't disappoint.

After Kelley and Hubbard danced around on stage during the first verse, Nelly appeared seemingly out of nowhere wearing an army green tank top with 'Cruise' written on the front. The St. Louis native threw down some rap lyrics while dancing in between Hubbard and Kelley.

If any crowd members weren't already on their feet, Nelly got them out of their seats. FGL ended the night hugging the rapper and waving goodbye to the cameras.
