The CMA Awards are going high tech in 2014. Jimmy Kimmel has announced plans for a series of holographic guest appearances during the live broadcast of the awards ceremony, including one by super-hot duo Florida Georgia Line.

The show airs live from Nashville on ABC next Wednesday (Nov. 5), and Kimmel's studio is located in Hollywood. According to US 99.5 in Chicago, Kimmel is slated to give a speech during the awards, and rather than make the trip to Nashville, he will appear live as a hologram on the stage of the Bridgestone Arena from the set of his show.

During his broadcast of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' that night, he will interview a CMA winner as a hologram in Hollywood while they are in Nashville, and Florida Georgia Line will also perform holographically on his show, again from Nashville.

The duo are also nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year.
