Florida Georgia Line are kicking off their Taste of Country takeover with a series of exclusive behind the scenes pictures from a recent concert at Jones Beach Theater.

The superstar duo performed at the venue on July 7 in advance of their brand-new album, Dig Your Roots, and it was quite an occasion. In the pictures above — which you'll only see on Taste of Country — find Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard in the studio listening to final mixes of the album, staying in shape by working out backstage, hanging out with their wives, chatting with longtime friend and tourmate Jaren Johnston of the Cadillac Three and more.

Johnston recently told our Taste of Country Nights radio show that the guys haven't changed since the early days, when they were all touring together in a van. Back in those days, Hubbard used to pick up extra work to make ends meet.

“When we started touring, Tyler had his number on the van saying ‘detail service,’" Johnston shares. "To see them go from that to private jets, it’s this crazy situation. It’s pretty awesome.”

FGL released Dig Your Roots on Friday (Aug. 26). Between now and Tuesday (Aug. 30) they'll be sharing exclusive content and taking over Taste of Country's social media on select days.

Dig Your Roots takes the duo in a new musical direction, eschewing the kind of party anthems that made them famous for more mature themes that reflect where they are now in their lives. The album's first single, "H.O.L.Y.," is a piano-driven ballad that exalts the power of love, and FGL's latest single, "May We All," features Tim McGraw on a wistful look at small-town American values.
