Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard is sporting a shiner after taking "a little dirt nap" over the weekend. In a video uploaded to Instagram on Monday (May 16), Hubbard shows off a new black eye while driving around Nashville.

The short clip also features FGL's "Sun Daze," which is being played on the radio. Always the clever wordsmith, Hubbard changes the lyrics to fit his mood.

"Wear my favorite glasses with my black eye," he sings.

"The video my wife @hayley_hubbard gets when I'm missing her and feeling back to my normal self after a little dirt nap this weekend on the motocross track," he captions the clip. "We all good and off to write a song today. She puts up with a lot of mess and I love her for it. Hurry home babe."

Despite Hubbard's black eye, the singer has reason to celebrate, as the duo's new single "H.O.L.Y." has reached the top of Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, as well as the Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Songs just weeks after it was released to country radio.

FGL debuted the song live at the ACCAs and it made the jump from No. 39 to No. 1 in just one week. Hubbard and Brian Kelley promise their next album will be a mature step for their music.

“It’s the perfect evolution,” Kelley told Taste of Country at the 2016 ACM Awards. “I think, really honestly, we’ve tried as best we can to be as transparent as we can with our lyrics and our music and record and write exactly where we’re at and then release it."
