Garth Brooks and his band are hard at work preparing for his massive upcoming Stadium Tour, and he took fans behind the scenes in Monday night's (March 4) episode of his weekly Facebook Live show, Inside Studio G.

Brooks shared footage of himself, his band and technicians on an impressive new stage design, going through rehearsals, talking over changes and having fun behind the scenes as they get ready for the upcoming tour, which is set to launch on March 9 with a date at the Dome at America's Center in St. Louis.

Elsewhere in the broadcast, Brooks seems to indicate that his wife Trisha Yearwood will not join him on the road for the enormous tour, which is slated to span three years. "Yeah, I wish," he replies in response to a fan's question about Yearwood's presence.

Brooks also thanked fans for their support of his forthcoming seven-disc vinyl boxed set, The Legacy Collection. Despite some complications with the online system, he announced that 20,000 fans had pre-ordered the set in 12 hours on Thursday (Feb. 28), with more opportunities to pre-order and reserve a special numbered copy coming up.

The country superstar dropped other tidbits during the episode, including the fact that 2019 Taste of Country RISER Cody Johnson will probably open Brooks' upcoming show in Arizona, and that his next single will be accompanied by a video.
