Garth Brooks has announced his first concert dates in south Florida in nearly 20 years. The country superstar and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, will perform two shows in Sunrise, Fla., in January of 2016.

The concerts mark Brooks' first appearances in the area in 19 years, as part of the massive ongoing Garth Brooks World Tour, which has been playing multiple dates in most markets since kicking off last year, bringing an end to more than a decade of self-imposed retirement from the road.

The two dates are slated for Friday, Jan. 15 at 7PM and Saturday, Jan. 16 at 7PM at the BB&T Center. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Nov. 6 at 10AM EST, with an eight ticket limit per purchase. Tickets will be available exclusively via the Ticketmaster website or by calling Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000. There will be no ticket sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on Nov. 6. All seats will cost a total of $74.98.

Brooks released a new studio album, Man Against Machine, in 2014, and he's featuring a mix of his past biggest hits and new material at his live gigs. The shows also feature old and new songs from Yearwood, who released her latest project, PrizeFighter: Hit After Hit, last November.

The couple also received side-by-side stars on the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville in September of 2015.
