Garth Brooks will end his northeastern tour run on Dec. 2 in New Jersey. The country star's December concert in Newark is set for 7:30PM at the Prudential Center — it's his first time performing at the venue.

Tickets for the New Jersey date of the Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood go on sale Oct. 19 at 10AM ET at a price point of $74.98 each.

Brooks' three-year world tour continues to make its way throughout the U.S.
In Indianapolis this past weekend he celebrated 6 million tickets sold on the tour, making it the biggest North American tour in history and the biggest American tour in the world.

In addition to breaking tour records, Brooks is readying a five-part book series for fans. The first book from Garth Brooks: The Anthology will be released this fall. Fittingly titled The First Five Years, the singer will detail the beginning of his career in the first issue.

The project marks the first book Brooks has ever written. The first part of the anthology will detail the beginnings of cutting “The Thunder Rolls” and how it was almost released by another artist. The book also gives insight to how “Friends in Low Places” and “The Dance” were almost never recorded, among other stories. New music will also be included in the form of five CDs featuring songs that that have never been heard, some written long before his debut album, plus outtakes, first takes, demos, and more will come along with the books.
