Garth Brooks – Then and Now

In his prime, Garth Brooks changed looks more than Lady Gaga. His facial hair came and left, and his locks went from long and dark to the grey crew cut we mostly see him with today. As you can see in the ‘Then’ picture, Brooks’ style has gone from cowboy to cowboy-cool in the 20 years between photos.

That’s the singer’s first wife Sandy Mahl alongside him in the photo from 1993. Of course, these days Trisha Yearwood accompanies him to important events. He’s dressed for an award show in the picture on the left, but longtime fans of the singer may remember the colorful western shirts he’d wear during live concerts. They were perhaps the only thing louder than his music, but admittedly, every man in America had one or two in his closet back then.
