George Strait is far from riding away. After his first Las Vegas dates sold out, the country singer has added two Strait to Vegas shows.

Strait will ride into 2017, with appearances on Feb. 17 and 18, 2017 at the Las Vegas Arena. Pre-sale begins this Friday (Oct. 30) at 10AM PT.

"I’ve missed stepping on stage and playing that first note … hearing the crowd sing in unison … there’s just nothing like it," Strait says in a press release. "I'd be lying if I said it didn’t feel good to know that the fans have missed me, too."

Strait announced his return to the stage at a September press event in Las Vegas. The six shows planned for 2016 sold out immediately when they went on sale on Oct. 2. The previously announced dates are in April, September and December 2016, with Kacey Musgraves as the supporting act. Strait's Las Vegas shows were announced after he closed his Cowboy Rides Away Tour, which was dubbed as his last tour.

The King of Country will be one of the first artists to perform at the Las Vegas Arena, which opens in April 2016. Strait's latest album, Cold Beer Conversation, is out now.
