Country Babies Born in 2012: George Harvey Strait III

It was a first grandchild for George Strait this year. His son Bubba welcomed home George Harvey Strait III on Feb. 2. Strait broke the news to his audience during a show in Phoenix, Ariz. “Fortunately I wasn’t on the road when the baby came,” Strait told Country Countdown USA's Lon Helton. “I was able to be there at the hospital, and what a miracle that is to see the little kid." It's his first grandchild, and perhaps the next in a lengthening line of musical Straits.
