George Strait has still got it. The country legend may have retired from active touring, but he still trounced Dan + Shay in a head-to-head Showdown with his new single, "Let It Go," taking nearly 85 percent of the total vote. Now, he faces a fresh challenge from Brett Eldredge.

"Let It Go" is the lead single from a forthcoming new George Strait album, and its laid-back groove is a perfect match for its lyrical message, which preaches the virtues of letting your troubles go and taking it easy.

Brett Eldredge is one of the fastest-rising stars in country music today. He scored three back-to-back No. 1 hits from his debut album, and his upcoming sophomore album is one of the most-anticipated releases of 2015. The lead single from that project, "Lose My Mind," is an uptempo song about a girl that you just can't seem to get out of your mind. Will fans lose their mind for the song enough to vote it past King George?

Listen to clips of both Strait and Eldredge’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Friday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Friday.
