Two traditional country powerhouses will square off in this Showdown song battle. The King, George Strait, is just one win away from having his song retired to the Hall of Fame. Chris Young is a newcomer by comparison, but one with a very active fanbase.

Those fans will need to step up in a big way if 'Who I Am With You' is going to top Strait's 'I Got a Car.' The new ballad from Young's 'A.M.' album is a soaring love song. Young pours his heart out singing about being the best he can be when he's alongside his soul mate. Can his song do something four songs have failed to do before him and top George Strait?

Listen to clips of both Strait and Young's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Friday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Friday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
