George Strait is still the King.

The singer's latest album, Cold Beer Conversation, recently topped the Soundscan and Billboard Country Albums charts. Strait's 29th studio album, Cold Beer Conversation is the singer's 26th album to top the country charts. The album marks another accomplishment in the legend's prestigious career, which includes 60 No. 1 singles and nearly 70 million records sold.

The King of Country Music will continue his winning streak in the coming months in Las Vegas, where he recently announced his Strait to Vegas residency in the brand new Las Vegas Arena, which will open in April of 2016.

Strait will kick off his residency with two performances on April 22 and 23 of 2016. He has two more dates set for Sept. 9-10, 2016 and another two dates scheduled for December 2 and 3, 2016, with the promise of additional performances to be announced. Kacey Musgraves will be Strait's opening act for all six shows, which have already sold out.

"I'm very excited to be coming back out and playing for the fans out there," Strait says. "I'm really looking forward to it so much. Come April it'll be about a year and 10 months since I performed with my band … It's gonna be exciting to get back out there again. I'm looking forward to singing those songs that I love so much."
