Due to overwhelming fan reaction, George Strait has added two more nights to his latest live experiment, 2 Nights of Number 1s, which showcases back-to-back live shows in Las Vegas that feature Strait and his 60 No. 1 country hits.

“Back when we announced 2 Nights of Number 1s, I said if the fans wanted to hear more, we would look at it,” Strait says in a press release. “Well, we heard them loud and clear. This is something they want more of, so that’s what they will get."

The news comes after Strait’s successful run of shows in Vegas earlier this month, where he debuted the unprecedented back-to-back 2 Nights of Number 1s. Nicknamed the King of Country, Strait has an unmatched 60 country singles that hit the top of the charts throughout his career and currently has over 280,000 fans streaming Strait’s No. 1 Hits playlist on Spotify each month.

Strait set the stage in Las Vegas by performing 30 No. 1 hits on April 7 and following with his next 30 No. 1 hits on April 8, sprinkling in classics such as “Fool Hearted Memory,” “You Look So Good In Love” and more. Like the previous April dates, the July (and September and December) dates are also to be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Tickets and VIP packages for the July 28-29 2 Nights of Number 1s shows are currently on sale at straittovegas.com.

These shows are big news for Strait fans, as the singer stepped back from touring in 2014 with the Cowboy Rides Away Tour, where his farewell concert at AT&T Stadium near Dallas drew a record-setting attendance of 104,793.
