Carrie Underwood's song 'There's a Place for Us,' featured in the film 'Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader,' is nominated for a 2011 Golden Globe. The tune, which was co-written by Underwood, David Hodges and Hillary Lindsey, is up for an award in the Best Original Song - Motion Picture category.

Underwood recently said, "We provided three very different songs for [the filmmakers] to choose from and they picked an epic ballad, which I do think in the end was a very good choice.”

The song is competing against the Gwyneth Paltrow-sung track 'Coming Home,' from 'Country Strong' (music and lyrics by Bob DiPiero, Tom Douglas, Hillary Lindsey and Troy Verges); the Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi duet 'I See the Light,' from 'Tangled' (music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater), and two 'Burlesque' tunes: Christina Aguilera's 'Bound to You' (lyrics co-written by Aguilera and Sia Furler, with music by Samuel Dixon) and the Cher-performed 'You Haven't Seen the Last of Me' (music and lyrics by Diane Warren).

The 2011 Golden Globes are will air live from Los Angeles on NBC on Jan. 16. For a complete list of this year's nominees, see the official Golden Globes website.
