The Grascals let St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital's brave youngsters be the stars of their music video for 'I Am Strong.' The video premiered yesterday on The Boot, and features country veteran Dolly Parton.

"The bottom line when we did the video was we wanted to convey the message in the song," explains Grascals singer and guitarist Jamie Johnson, who was inspired to write the bluegrass-centric song (with his wife Susanne Mumpower-Johnson and fiddler Jenee Fleenor) after seeing the hospital's 'I Am' message board. "The main thing was that we didn't want to take away from the children. The whole reason for this is the children."

The band spent a day-and-a-half at the hospital in Memphis, Tenn., interacting with the children and their parents. Dolly filmed her part of the video at her own studio. She is currently working on music in collaboration with Queen Latifah for the upcoming film 'Joyful Noise.'

All proceeds from 'I Am Strong' will, fittingly, go to the hospital. The video version is slightly different than the bonus track version from the album, 'The Grascals + Friends: Country Classics With a Bluegrass Spin,' in stores Jan. 10.
