Tonight at the 2011 Oscars, Gwyneth Paltrow graced the stage to perform the song 'Coming Home' from the motion picture 'Country Strong.' Paltrow starred in the film, which was released in December 2010, as washed up country singer Kelly Canter as she tried to make a comeback.

'Coming Home' was nominated for the Oscar in the Best Original Song category, and Paltrow took to the stage to sing the song, which was written by Tom Douglas, Troy Verges and Hillary Lindsey. The actress looked ravishing in a beaded, nude one-shouldered gown as she sang the emotional lyrics, "There ain't nothing but a blue sky / After all of  my running / I'm finally coming home."

Since she she starred in 'Country Strong,' Paltrow has developed a deep respect for country music. With an ethereal, blue starry background projected behind her, it was obvious that Paltrow gave the performance all of her heart and soul, but we wonder if she will continue to pursue a career in country music.
