Hank Williams, Jr. released 'A Country Boy Can Survive' 30 years ago, and he's still riding a wave of success from the backwoods ballad. Although this addition to the Top 100 Country Songs list never actually reached No. 1 on the charts, it's become an American theme song for resiliency and patriotism.

Shortly after the 9/11 attack, Williams re-released the song as 'America Will Survive,' and it climbed to No. 45 on the country chart. In 2007, he re-released the original version along with a new music video, and it rose to No. 45 again. Even though the song is not currently charting, country music diehards still know every word.
