Hank Williams Jr. has been teasing his new music for a while, but fans are in luck, as now that music has an official release date.

Williams Jr. announced on Facebook earlier on Monday (Oct. 26) that his forthcoming album titled It's About Time will be released on Jan. 15. Fans can pre-order the album beginning on Nov. 4. That same night, the icon will be performing his new single "Are You Ready for the Country" with Eric Church at the 2015 CMA Awards, broadcast live from Nashville on ABC.

In a candid interview with Rolling Stone Country earlier this month where he opened up about his life and hurdles he has faced, Williams Jr. also shared some insight into the new music.

“We have made an album that is pure magic,” he says. “The songs — some I wrote and others I got from great songwriters — are typical Hank Jr. songs and I think will connect with anyone who hears them.”

“Remember this one: ‘Dress Like an Icon,'” he asserts. “That’s all I’m gonna tell you!”

Williams Jr. recently signed a deal with Nash Icon Records. It's About Time will be his first release on the label.
