Hayden Panettiere’s ‘Nashville’ Character Will Be Pregnant, Too

Hayden Panettiere's pregnancy is being written into the storyline on 'Nashville.' The actress' character, Juliette Barnes, will also be expecting in the show's upcoming season.

Ever since news of Panettiere's pregnancy broke, 'Nashville' fans have been wondering how that would play out on television. Panettiere is expecting her first child with fiance Wladimir Klitschko, but what about Barnes? Would they try to mysteriously hide the baby bump after it got big? Would we see her in a lot of black this season? Some even speculated what we now know, that her character will also be expecting a little bundle of joy, as well.

E! News confirms that Barnes will also be preggo, and although that answers one question, it leaves fans with one more burning: Who will the father be?! That will be determined during the upcoming third season of the wildly popular drama.

In the show, Barnes made a not-so-great life choice when she decided to cheat on her boyfriend Avery (played by Johnathan Jackson) during a drunken night with Jeff Fordham (played by Oliver Hudson). So, who is the father? Will this cause a little baby daddy drama? We can only hope.

'Nashville' Season 3 kicks off Sept. 24 at 10PM on ABC.
